MONTERREY, NUEVO LEÓN
As reported below, an armed group has attacked the offices of a local newspaper for the third time. The men poured gasoline around, then ignited it and fled. Two newspaper employees were slightly injured in fleeing, including photographer that cut his foot, but none required hospitalization. The attackers vehicle was located a few blocks away, abandoned.


SABINAS HIDALGO, NUEVO LEÓN
Hilario Guadalupe Reyna Cuevas, aka: “El Vago”,
presumed Zetas boss for the plaza in Sabinas Hidalgo was captured by Federal Police agents. He was arrested with four others, 2 men and 2 women, at an abandoned farm. He is implicated in the imprisonment and killing of 6 rivals cartel members. The agents found a clandestine grave after his arrest, containing remains of bones, and other burned bodies in abandoned buildings in the nearby village of Carboneras. Federal police seized two rifles, one handgun, three magazines, 105 cartridges, a car and four trucks, two of them armored.

MORELIA, MICHOACAN
An attack on a bar Sunday morning summoned state police to the sound of gunshots. On arrival they found 5 people shot and wounded.
